What is really open for the next six days, after shifts, time off, and crews working across business unit group lines.

Each cell is how many more calls that group can take, with a thin mark showing how full it already is. The count is remaining hours divided by that group’s own average appointment length.
room to book 85% or fuller over capacity
Settings › Adaptive Capacity, per business unit and day. The sign is already correct — negative subtracts hours. These net to zero across the company, because nobody is created or destroyed; the hours are only sitting in the wrong bucket.
Why an adjustment is needed at all. ServiceTitan credits a technician’s hours to the business unit on their record and charges the work to the job’s business unit. Business Unit Groups widen the first half — a tech becomes eligible across every unit in their group — but they do not join it to the second. So when a tech crosses a group line, the group that lent them keeps showing hours it no longer has and will take bookings against someone who is on another crew’s job, while the group that borrowed them carries work it was never credited. Movement inside a group nets to nothing and produces no adjustment, which is the point of grouping.
Two things to hold in mind before booking against this. Capacity is only as honest as the shifts behind it: technicians working without a Normal shift on file are missing from these hours altogether, so a group’s remaining time can read lower than it truly is — Shift Fit lists exactly who. And ServiceTitan’s documentation describes eligibility and consumption separately without ever saying whether an out-of-group booking is already subtracted from the lending group. If it is, entering the full negative would double-count. Worth testing once against a live lending group before this drives anything that turns a customer away.
